This very attractive and highly functional unit is designed to provide privacy while allowing for interacting instruction. It functions smoothly and effectively in today's technologically up-to-date classrooms, computer labs, and telemarketing centers. Single face modular design allows for the addition of adder units to form rows to fit your requirements. Specially shaped work surface (see fig. 1 at right) helps maximize floor space while facilitating movement from the keyboard to pen and paper. Surface width of 41 1/2" allows for room on the right to be used as workspace. Steel wire management modesty panel system routes cables and wires with an optional locking door available. 18-gauge steel CPU holder option also available.

Product Specifications - Teaching Carrel I


Surface and Panel

Are 1" thick solid core construction in low glare melamine laminate with matching 2mm PVC edge banding. End panels are 42" high, top of panel is 15 1/2" above work surface. Work surface is specially shaped, 41 1/2" wide, angled from 29 1/2" deep on the left side to 23 1/2" deep on the right side. A 16-gauge steel soft radius retaining rim protects the front edge of the work surface. The unit is standard with an 18-gauge steel wire management modesty panel tray, 8"H x 4"D x full width. Cables and wiring are managed via five cable entrances. 3" diameter grommets are provided in each of the end panels and work surface. 12-gauge steel angle brackets support and attach the work surface to the end panels, as does the wire management tray. For security, an optional locking door is available for the wire management tray. All steel components are finished with baked on epoxy powder paint. Equipped with four nickel-plated steel adjustable 1" glides. Ships ready to assemble.
